  Tonight was a night of lessons.

   

  Of how to honour a friend even

  as you mourn his loss, and of 

  the chances in life that you 

  miss if you stop trying.

   

  Ya Allah, life is truly short.

   

  Go home. Tell your families

  and friends you love them.

  Be with them every chance

  you get. Tell them how much

  they mean to you. Show it.

   

  Don't ever let them forget.
