  Sometimes I talk more in notes and

  letters to him than I do in person.

   

  Maybe some would prefer it this way.

  Letters and notes can go unanswered.

  With these, there is no need to deal

  with thoughts or ideas or curiousity.

   

  But that's not communication.

  And without it, you wonder if 

  you really know each other at all.
